Safe Dispensing of Liquid Nitrogen

The decanting of liquid nitrogen always poses a safety concern especially in enclosed areas when one litre of liquid nitrogen quickly turns into 700 litres of odourless gas.

The SafeFill provides an automatic safety system shutting off any filling process giving more time to evacuate in the event of a spill.

This in turn reduces the damage caused by spilling large quantities of liquid nitrogen and the need for personnel to take risks entering an oxygen depleted area to close off valves etc.

The SafeFill can be used with external monitoring devices such as an oxygen deficiency alarms, providing a fast automatic response to a dangerous situation.

Three Safe Ways To Stop

SafeFill Operation

Internal Timer If the vessel is left unattended, the timer will stop the filling process after several minutes.

Liquid Level Sensor A flexible sensor is hooked over the edge of the vessel, when the tip comes into contact with liquid nitrogen the filling process is stopped.

External Alarm Input Any device such as an oxygen deficiency monitor can be used to stop the filling process.
